Essential Qualifications:
- First Class or equivalent in B.Tech and M.Tech in the relevant discipline, as per AICTE/UGC norms
- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in reputed Engineering Colleges / Universities
- Demonstrated expertise in emerging areas, use of modern engineering tools, simulation software, or interdisciplinary applications relevant to the discipline
Desirable / Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
- Strong research credentials with publications in SCI / Scopus indexed journals
- Experience as Principal Investigator / Co-Principal Investigator in externally funded research projects (DST, SERB, AICTE, DRDO, ISRO, etc.)
- Proven experience in curriculum development, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), and accreditation processes (NBA/NAAC)
- Ability to establish and lead Centers of Excellence, advanced laboratories, and research groups
- Experience in Ph.D. and PG research supervision
Desirable Educational Qualifications for Expert Professor – B.Tech Electrical and Computer Engineering:
- B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering
- Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering or allied interdisciplinary areas, as permitted by AICTE/UGC
Essential Qualifications:
- Superannuated faculty from recognized Technical Institutions or a person of eminence from industry, R&D organizations, or public sector undertakings
- Postgraduate and/or Ph.D. qualifications in the relevant discipline
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience in industry / organization / R&D / public sector, with demonstrated leadership roles
- Proven ability to contribute to teaching, training, research, consultancy, or innovation activities
- No age limit, as per UGC guidelines
Preferred Skills & Expertise:
- Experience in guiding sponsored research and consultancy projects
- Strong industry–academia collaboration exposure
- Experience in proposal preparation for government agencies and industry funding
- Hands-on expertise in emerging technologies and professional practices
- Experience in mentoring students for research, innovation, startups, and competitions
- Exposure to patents, IPR, technology transfer, and commercialization
